YOU NEED SUPPORT.
You rarely see the Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Your role as the Educational Interpreter is a mix of interpreter + teacher + classroom aide + behavior manager + student motivator... and you're not sure if you're doing it right or not.
No one else in the school understands the role of the interpreter, and it's a little hard to explain when you're working with your particular student.
You have questions but you don't have anyone to ask.
The Online Itinerant can support you today!

SUPPORT FOR THE CHALLENGES YOU FACE.
CHALLENGE #1:
You do way more than just "interpret" - but you're not trained for those other things.....
You don't have time off to get PD but you could really use the help and training! The Online Itinerant has more than 50 hours of trainings, all exclusive to meeting the needs of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. All on-demand. Many are broken into 15-minute segments, allowing you to access them in bite-sized pieces, allowing better implementation and follow-through. Plus, the Online Itinerant offers RID credit, allowing you to document your time towards your licensure.
